What Happens If TWINO Goes Out of Business?
We understand that the safety of your investments is a top priority. That’s why it’s important to know what happens in the unlikely event that TWINO ceases operations, loses its investment services license, or is declared insolvent.
Below, you’ll find a clear overview of the process as defined in our Terms and Conditions.
If TWINO’s License Is Revoked or the Company Becomes Insolvent
In the event that TWINO’s investment services license is suspended or revoked by the Bank of Latvia, or if the company is declared insolvent, the following steps will take place:
Termination of Services
All activities on the platform will stop, and no new transactions or investments will be processed.
Your current agreements and investment operations will be terminated according to the applicable laws and regulations.
Return of Funds and Assets
Any funds held in your investor account will be returned to you in accordance with Latvian legislation.
TWINO will provide you with information about the financial instruments you hold, sent directly to the email address associated with your account.
Legal Protection and Applicable Law
All rights and obligations between you and TWINO will be governed by the relevant Latvian laws, including the Law on Investment Firms and the Law on Recovery and Resolution.
