Financial Controller

Latvia, Riga | Finance & Accounting

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management, including regulatory and financial reporting, overseeing the preparation of financial statements, and the development of internal control policies and procedures while also contributing to strategic planning and financial decision-making.

Your responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial reporting and analysis at the Group level
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards for Latvian companies
  • Implement and maintain financial control systems and processes to improve efficiency
  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management for decision-making
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information
  • Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes
  • Assist in the development and execution of the company's financial strategies
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks
  • Maintenance of unified chart of accounts and mapping across the Group
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a financial management role, preferably in lending or financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge of Latvian financial regulations and accounting standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Implementation of reporting tool will be considered as an advantage

The salary range for this position varies from 2800-3500 EUR gross depending on the skill set, experience, and other competencies.
