By joining the TWINO Investment team as a Senior Java Developer, you will help to build products and services that help create an investment universe everyone can participate in.
Your responsibilities
- Work closely with the product development team to build unique backend services that will shape the Investment trading universe
- Work to deliver solutions from concept to implementation
- Identify high impact classes of problems and design and implement general solutions with a high return on investments
- Continuously improve and maintain product portfolio and its features
- Drive and improve development practices, strategy and take ownership of code delivery
- Ensure test coverage of written code to improve quality
- Deploy code changes using CI/CD approach
- Work according to good development practices
- Work with diverse cross-functional teams
- Contribute to R&D projects to solve business issues and seek new ways how to do things better
What we are looking for
- Solid development experience with JAVA8+, Groovy, Hibernate, database migration scripts. We use also Kotlin and Gradle, so any experience or willingness to learn these technologies are welcome
- Experiences with source code versioning tools, like BitBucket or Git
- Ability to research, develop and communicate quality technical designs, concepts, and recommendations
- Write clean and maintainable code
- Able to take ownership over the solution, delivery, architecture, and automated testing
- Passion for new product development and have experience with scalable distributed systems
- Willingness to learn continuously, improve skills and share knowledge across the team
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- A willingness to work as part of a progressive, collaborative, friendly, and agile environment
- Strong sense of quality and a will to succeed
- Good time management skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work to timescale and manage your own workload
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Interest in investment trading products (bonus points)
- Fluent in English

We offer good and competitive terms of employment, exciting employee benefit program and competitive remuneration package. Salary range for this position varies from 3500 EUR – 5800 EUR gross depending on the skill set, experience and other competencies.
